About Me
Hello I'm Sophia
I am a Pediatric Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) located in the heart of the Triangle area of North Carolina. I am a mom of 4 breastfed daughters and have experienced most of the challenges breastfeeding mothers have faced on their lactation journeys. I offer a warmer and gentler approach to lactation because simply put...I get it. Feeling like you need to do it all, and having no where to turn to? Asking yourself what do I do now, now that the smoke has cleared and baby is home? I am here to help bridge the gap, by helping you find solutions to the lactation challenges you face. I offer consults from the moment you hear your baby's heart beat, then on to baby's first latch, and up until they take their final sip of the liquid gold. You don't have to do this alone , let me help you to give your baby the healthiest start to life.

Sophia with Relatable Lactation was the biggest blessing in my lactation journey. As a new mom, I was unaware and concerned about my first breastfeeding experience. Our daughter was born three weeks early and I was not prepared for her to quickly lose so much weight during her first few days of life. Sophia held my hand through proper feeding timing, technique, and positioning. I quickly got the hang of it thanks to her excellent guidance. Our daughter is now ten weeks old, feeds like a champ in less than 15 min, and sleeps thru the night. Mrs. Sophia Taylor made a house call to help me with the trouble I was having nursing my newborn. Though my newborn wasn't trying to eat in front of us lol, she gave me a lot of insight and knowledge that gave me the confidence to keep trying.
